Shutdown
• Do not unplug the power cord before the projector shutdown sequence is complete or during
the cooling down process.
• If the projector is not properly shut-down, you risk damaging the lamp. Do not move the
projector whilst the lamp is hot.
You can operate your display software program (on a connected PC)
which responds to page up/down commands (like Microsoft PowerPoint)
by pressing
Page Up and Page Down on the remote control. See
"Connecting a computer" on page 16 for details.
Connect the projector to your PC or notebook with a USB cable
prior to using this function.
Press the Freeze button on the remote control to freeze the image. An
icon will display in the lower right corner of the screen. To
release the function, press the Freeze button on the remote control,
or the Source (or SOURCE/WIRELESS) button.
This does not remotely control the signal source. It just freezes the
currently projected image.
1. Press the POWER button and a prompt message appears. Press the POWER button a
second time to turn the projector off.
2. The POWER indicator light flashes orange
and the lamp shuts down, the fans continue
to run for the time duration as determined
by the Quick Cooling function (see "Quick
Cooling (On)" on page 41) to cool down
the projector.
To protect the lamp, the projector will not
respond to any commands during the
cooling process.
3. Disconnect the power cord from the wall
socket.
